These terms govern your use of the Pros On Hand website (operated by Pros On Hand) and any service request, quote, or invoice you receive through it. By submitting a request through this site, you agree to the terms below.
Service requests are not a booking
Submitting a request through our website or chat widget tells us you'd like service, it does not guarantee a specific appointment time. A technician will contact you to confirm scheduling, especially for non-emergency requests. For active emergencies, call our emergency line directly at (555) 019-2837 rather than waiting on a form or chat reply.
Quotes and pricing
Any price, quote, or estimate provided by our chat widget, website, or a technician before an in-person inspection is preliminary and subject to change once the actual scope of work is confirmed on site. Final pricing is only binding once presented in a written quote or invoice and accepted by you. Emergency service calls may carry a different rate than scheduled daytime work, we will always disclose this before dispatching a technician.
Invoices and payment
Invoices are issued after work is completed, itemizing labour, materials, and any applicable sales tax. We accept e-transfer as our preferred payment method, along with other methods a technician may offer. Payment is due upon receipt of invoice unless other arrangements have been made in writing.
The chat widget and AI-assisted tools
Our website includes an automated chat widget to help collect basic information about your request. The chat widget does not provide binding price quotes or guarantee appointment availability: it exists to gather your name, phone number, and job details so a technician can follow up. Any AI-assisted drafts used internally to prepare a quote or invoice are always reviewed and finalized by a licensed technician before being sent to you.
Limitation of liability
We carry out all work in accordance with applicable codes and manufacturer specifications. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from services performed is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim, except where such limitation is not permitted by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time; the "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the website after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
